i got a new laptop recently and of course installed flash. it works in IE but not firefox. any ideas?

Go visit Macromedia's site using Firefox and it'll install the plugin for the fox.

If you're using Adblock, you have to disable Obj-Tabs (Tools/Options/Adblock -> Preferences / Adblock Options / click on "Obj-Tabs" to uncheck)

then use adblock. that way you can disable any flash-based ads.

i still want to see flash-enabled sites, just not the goddamn ads that use it. works well when i open my yahoo mail. looks so clean!

did that...that's how i installed flash. works in ie, but not firefox.
