Dunno how we got started on it, but Josh had me find him a bunch of songs in my music folder and listened and made a playlist for me to burn him 2 cd's worth of songs. Here they are:

Poison - Your Mama Don't Dance (& Your Dad Don't Rock n Roll) (He has this first on both cd's lol)
Joan Jett - I Love Rock n Roll
Culture Club - Karma Chameleon
MC Hammer - Can't Touch This
Survivor - Eye of the Tiger
The Bangles - Walk Like An Egyptian
Queen - We Will Rock You
The Escape Club - Wild Wild West
REM - End of the World
Guns n Roses - Welcome to the Jungle
Depeche Mode - Shout
Eddy Grant - Electric Avenue
C+C Music Factory - Gonna Make You Sweat (Everybody Dance Now)
The Proclaimers - I'm Gonna Be (500 Miles)
Bon Jovi - You Give Love a Bad Name
Bon Jovi - Living On a Prayer
Bon Jovi - Blaze of Glory
Bon Jovi - Bad Medicine
Aerosmith - Back in the Saddle
Air Supply - All Out of Love
Ace of Base - All That She Wants
Guns n Roses - Sweet Child of Mine
REM - Losing My Religion
3 Doors Down - Kryptonite
Bon Jovi - I'll Be There For You (Yes, that's 4 BJ songs. lol)
Debbie Gibson - Only In My Dreams
Garth Brooks - Callin Baton Rouge (Hey, I had to throw in SOME country. ;) )
Phil Collins - Sussudio

:D LOL

Nice playlist -- great selections. :)

Surprised to see Shout on there (nice to see something OTHER than Personal Jesus for a change). Enjoy the Silence was another great track (though part of me is questioning whether that's Depesche Mode or not).

Joan Jett - I Love Rock n Roll
REM - End of the World
Guns n Roses - Welcome to the Jungle
Eddy Grant - Electric Avenue
Aerosmith - Back in the SaddleThese are keepers. I say discard the rest.

Waaay too much hair metal, and not enough real metal. You don't want him growing up to be a little girly-man, do you :P? Get some Iron Maiden and Judas Priest to replace Poison and that God-awful G+R ballad. And has he heard Bon Jovis "Raise Your Hands" yet? Its about the only thing of Jon's that won't interfere with testosterone production.

And since we're talking 80's, howzabout some Men At Work? Willie Nelson?

LOL He's only 8 and that's all I had in my collection he liked. so... :PPerfect! That's exactly how old I was when my oldest brother first introduced me to Iron Maiden's Number of the Beast! They immediately became my favorite band, and I haven't looked back since :D.

(yup, I never had a chance :hihi:)

LOL Well, if it is any consolation, give him a choice between my country radio station and Scott's rock station, 95% of the time, he'll choose the rock. :P
