5400 RPM Notebook Hard Drives

Would a 5400 RPM drive generate more heat than a 4200 RPM drive to be concerned about the life/performance?

I am thinking of upgrading my 3 year old Toshiba 20 GB to at least a 60 GB drive.

I think you'd lose a little more battery life, but since you seem to be on a 3 year upgrade cycle life shouldn't be an issue.
