ok...i'll allow for TWO jokes about the left pedal being the brake pedal :p
but seriously, my mechanic said that i'm riding my brakes. so i'm curious, how do you brake so you don't ride the brakes, but still don't end up jerking?

Braking as little as usual. Coasting when you can before red lights and stop signs, even if it means shifting into neutral, which I don't recommend under ALL circumstances, as it detracts from your ability to avoid idiots who pull out in front of you, etc.. Also saves on fuel. When you brake, mean it, but don't use the brakes to moderate speed.

If your left foot is on the brake, and your right foot is on the gas, you are riding your brakes. :hihi:
