I would rock that for $10k if it was a 2-seater. What gets me is that GM had a very similar concept car over 20 years ago and never went anywhere with it.

Maybe if was classified like a motorcycle... That might be the key. VW had a 3-wheeled concept vehicle at the LA auto show that was billed as a motorcycle. Not sure what the distinction is, but the VW was sweet. It did have an open top. Projected price was $17k though.

In most states, any vehicle with three wheels or less in contact with the ground is classified as a motorcycle.
