NSS: Trustworthy colleagues .. Lost bank card

Not so suckage ... I really enjoy working at a place where people are honest.

Yesterday, had my head in the clouds at work, worried about setting up the partner program i did today. Went to get cash before lunch, and i left my bank card in the machine. I took the cash but left the card and receipt.

An hour or so later, i got a call from the receptionist to tell me that my card was at the front desk with her. Someone had dropped it off! There are 2000+ people working in my building!

That's great. I once left my Visa Check card at a computer in the lab at the school I was attending at the time. And when I called to notify the bank of the loss, they informed me that someone had already called in to say that they found the card and had my card cancelled for me. It was great.

Being around honest people really is great.

I got you both beat...I once went to a drive up ATM and left without the money. Just my card and the receipt. Good thing I went back and the money was still there 5 minutes later.

Um this doesn't really show much about the goodness of people... Just fortunate that someone didn't come by and help themselves to your money.
