The price is tempting, but there is nothing like the real thing. iTunes is the best music management software out there. You can set up playlists, download music, ID tag editing, etc.

I doubt this thing works with iTunes and therefore I would say that it's not that hot. Plus for $51, what are you really saving? You will lose all of the functions of a real iPod, ie, iTunes, podcasts, warranty, firmware updates, etc. I have bought many mp3 players, and none of them come close to the iPod.

I don't know if it's actually a hoax or not but a couple other deals on other sites pointed to fifthunit.com and they were all cancelled/unfulfilled orders or never responded after they took payment. I'd watch out for them..

Actually that is the reason I am considering this. The fact that it is NOT an ipod. I have a ipod mini and I hate dealing with itunes. I want to be able to drag and drop my music and have it work right. Also I like that it has an FM radio.

Yeah I wish the iPods had radios in it. I can see your point there.

I bought a couple $2 laser/led light things from FifthUnit. Got em in a pretty reasonable time.

They have excellent photography and web design that make the products look a lot better. The items I got were probably the same quality as the trinkets you find in Chinatown. ;)

I live in Beijing and these are all over the place. Honestly, they are garbage. The wheel is nothing but buttons and the quality is junk. There are much better $50 MP3 players out there...
