We pick up the keys to the new house in Greensboro today (a rental - couldn't swing a purchase just yet). We're loading up the Metro with some bedding, kitchen stuffs, and the kitties and heading out from Raleigh about 2:30. Tomorrow morning we're coming back with a U-Haul trailer, a full-size Chevy, and two minivans to get the rest. (THO's family rocks.) We have the rest of the month to come back and clean and grab whatever small stuff we have to. We're not completely done packing yet, but there isn't much left to do really. My car can handle anything we don't take Saturday.
The house is a three-bedroom with a good-size kitchen and an average living room. I'm looking forward to having a driveway so I can do car maintenance more easily.
We're of course paying for everyone's gas and feeding them. Oy, gas...
