Website issues - determining registered owner and more

Hey People -

I have to determine who owns a particular website but I am running into a few issues. First, the site automatically redirects me to a number of different sites within a few seconds of loading. My standard program of choice didnt seem to stop the hijacking/redirect. ANy idea how to beat it? Secondly, what is going to be the best way to determine who owns a particular website?

try going to whois.net or godaddy.com and entering the domain name. they both will give you whatever info is stored in the internic database.

What if one of those is involved in the issue? i.e. the redirect goes to their site, but to content not saying available or to contact them.

type in "website.com" and submit. it'll tell you who owns it

i also use dnssstuff.com
