Was inducted into Alpha Sigma Lambda, academic honor society at Catholic University in DC. The ceremony went down last night...it was great.

Yeah, and the best part was that my fam was there to see it. My daughter (who's 9) was pretty jacked. It's certainly a good model for her to see (i.e., that hard work academically pays off).

According to Catholic, criteria for membership include number of courses completed, GPA, percentile standing in class, and citizenship qualities. I don't know where I stand in the class, but I'm pulling a 3.9 and have volunteered at numerous campus events. It's also known that I coach youth sports in the area where I live and my kids play.

The honor itself was great. Personally, I'm happy with how it will look on the resume. And again, couldn't ask for a better model for my kids to see. :)

So how much did you have to pay them for that again?

Kidding, kidding. Congrats. :)

Here's to parents being good role models. Too bad I didn't follow my dad's example. :hihi:
