It was just a joke.. and should ahve been left as such, you guys are wondering why people are leaving the forums??? well this is why! Because people have become so PC that a simple joke gets removed because oh god forbid someone gets upset, oh no god forbid... people online who are thousands of miles appart will get upset... who the **** cares, if they can't deal with something so miniscule then it's their problem and we have nothing to benefit from their presence!

Guess what ladies and gentlemen, controvercial topics (wich this joke was not) make our discussions interesting. If it wasn't for them we would have a ****ing forum of Kiisthequeen's retarded news posts :woo:

i saw it Burz's thread before it quickly vanished. it was funny. i doubt anyone even had the chance to complain about it, and i doubt anyone would.

i have tried to PM the powers that be about these overboard acts of deleting threads, and didn't really get anywhere. mine on immigration was deleted also and all i was stating was that i wasn't anti-immigration i was anti-illegal immigration.

it's really tiring just being able to post far out news stories and happy birthday threads.

How about an all out forum war, bring back Canta, renots, hang 10, etc. then only the strong survive. Hell bring back panache and navyones. I got a giggle out of the joke, but had the sneaking suspicion that it would be pulled.

There are oodles of things to talk about (news items included) that are not political in nature.

I don't currently have one to offer up, but that's now, not ever.

I honestly don't see why the political forum is the end-all be-all for some folks. :shrug: It was fun to read the stuff there and I daily got a giggle from it, but it going away didn't ruin my G|A fun.

Though, that could be because I wasn't a very active poster there.

For those that liked the PF, I'm sorry it's gone, but to keep haranguing about it and posting borderline threads... :shrug: Seems to me like begging for an argument.

Then I got to thinking about it after having a few websites myself including a forum. I came to the realization that the Forum is in no way a "Favor" to us, or to benefit the users.

The Forum is here specifically to keep people interested and coming back to the site in hopes they will click on an AD Link, or one of the "DEAL" links on the mainpage.

Plain and simple, the forum is here FOR profit. Listening to it's most active users is never a bad idea.
