As far as I'm concerned borders are nothing more than a useless remnant from our days of primative days of tribal war. As a citizen of the world I find it kind of offensive that THE MAN can tell me where I'm allowed to live and work based on where I just happeded to be born.

Not sure of whom you mean by the man, but it seems other developed countries have much more restrictive immigration policies.

Maybe we should adopt one along the lines of what Mexico has...

Make the legalization process faster and easier. Raise immigrant quotas so more people get in legally. If coming here legally is easier fewer people will take the risk of doing it illegally. Otherwise things are fine the way they are. I've never been harmed by an alien.

I'm for a big wall, adding the guard and more border patrol, but also drying up the jobs here. I'm also for arresting and deporting illegals as we find them. I agree with IAHAD in that you need to dry up the well but also lock the door...


EDIT: I also don't think it's a good idea to propagate the idea that the Minute Men are vigilantes. They haven't been involved in any violence or altercations with illegals. In fact it's against their mandate or ideals. They're peaceful protesters. I'm planning on doing a week or two this summer with them. Anyone want to join me?

Like I said before..it doesn't matter what anyone does..if someone wants to get here bad enough they will.

I know we can't stop everyone but i am interested in stopping the million fold tide. You better believe that wall/guard would stem atleast 90% of the tide hopefully more.
