Hey guys! I'm currently in Indianapolis after driving about 9 hours from North Carolina. My ass hurts from sitting all day so I'm looking forward to lying down...

5 more hours to Chicago...

Indy to Chicago is only about 3 hours, plus the traffic delay at the Indiana/Illinois border. If you're going to the north side of things, add about 30 minutes. But of course, I doubt you'll read this until you get here.

Nope. I got it :)

I'm still at the hotel since I'm taking my sweet time. I was actually hoping that it would be 5 hours since I just bought the DaVinci code on Audible for the last leg of the trip.

Btw, all those in the other thread who told me to get an ipass, I thank you. Turns out Ipass works at places that take EZPass (i.e. West Virginia tollway). That was pretty sweet.

Have a great trip. I just got back from Chicago with training with the Chicago fire department. Great group of people but even after my four hour drive my bum started to hurt :D

I'm here in Chicago! That damned traffic on 94 was a pain, but the audiobook made it go by quickly. I'm a big fan of audiobooks now, and a big fan of the DaVinci Code, although I now understand why some Christians want to boycott it. Even though I'm not religious, I can definately see some inflammatory stuff in it. Still, it's a great book although I'm not sure how far I'm into it.

Welcome to the area. If you don't like the weather, just wait a few minutes.

I tried to warn you about that.
