Every time i restart my PC, it fails to atomatically connect to the wireless network.
Every time i restart my pc i also have to restart my router, in which case the PC picks up the network right away. ANy clue?

Router is a linksys
wifi card is built into my mobo which is asus p5ad2e premium

have a look at this: http://forums.gotapex.com/showpost.p...36&postcount=1 (http://forums.gotapex.com/showpost.php?p=710336&postcount=1)

The principle's the same - firmware upgrade, hard reset, reg hack.

Also something you might want to check:

Is there anyone else with a wifi network in your area? How many channels are being used? Remember that channels will overlap and the only channels that will be completely interference free (of each other) are 1, 6 and 11. Optimally you would have only people around you using one of those channels. If not, you could run into frequency overlap interference.

I can go on about this since I am involved in a metro wifi design right now, but that would take a while and I've got to get back to work.

Also try switching channels - I've had that solve some problems before. If you're on 11 now, try running on channel 1.
