Hey, i dont know why but my car wont shift into top gear unless you drive for a few miles. Usually it'l go into top gear around 60 but now it just wont go until i've been driving for 5 min or so. Then after that, (5 min or so) it'll shift no problem, shift down, shift up. no problem.

Anyone have a clue?

~William

Did you check the transmission fluid level? Sounds like it's low. If it is low, add fluid until it's full (but don't overfill). Then get under the car and check for a fluid leak. Tranny fluid is red in color. You'll probably want to change the fluid since you will have been burning it up by running your car with it low on fluid.

Nope, still same problem, i changed the fluid and filter, and its still doesnt want to shift into overdrive till you drive it for a while. Cant figure out why, i just might have to take my car to a shop.

Sounds like you get to get an overhaul... Nothink like $2000 worth of work to really make you "appreciate" your car...
