If I can't find any tranny shop around L.A., may as well settle with RMM. I heard you have to schedule two weeks before.

Angry Tranny shop

dodo.....Don't be fooled like I was when it comes to this important repair...I took it to a shop called AA Budget Transmissions and paid $2000 for my 1995 Dodge Stratus tranny rebuild only to have the exact same problems occur within 30 minutes of picking up my "repaired" car....I had to take it to the dealer after 3 months of this lame shop trying to fix it and I had to spend $2000 again...AFTER 3 MONTHS!!!! I am in the process of sueing the first company to recover my $2000.....TAKE IT TO THE DEALER...It may be a little more, but it will save you bunches in the long run....

Ouch, that sucks. I just wanted to install torque converter and it's better to install in a tranny shop. Thanks for the warning.

Exclamation Torque Converter

Dodo....AA Budget put an unbalanced torque converter in my car when they rebuilt my tranny and when I complained about the vibration that wasn't present before they worked on my car, they couldn't figure out how to fix it....The dealer did it right....WATCH OUT FOR AFTER MARKET PARTS.....PAY A LITTLE MORE FOR QUALITY PARTS!!!

I purchased my torque converter from Procision Industry, consider one of the leading company that produce quality TC. Because I have a Lexus, I wouldn't want to screw around my car. Always have to find the best parts and install in the most reputable shop.
