Holy hot damn. I'm an absolute Porsche fanatic, and that is a huge score for them. Considering the way they brought the Boxster to the dealership with minimal changed from the car show stand, I'm peeing my pants in anticipation. Maybe I outta change my Christmas list to the parents this year!!

Too lazy to click through the link, Leon. When is that bitch out?

what were they thinking by putting the shifter so far up the center console? seems a little awkard to me.

the rest of it looks awesome though

I think they did that so you can shift faster. This is if you drive with both hands on the wheel.

"Configuration V10 induction engine with 68° cylinder angle
Displacement 5.5 liters
Horsepower 410 kW (558 hp)
Max. rpm 8200"

Fuel tank capacity 90L

Uh, 90 litres? Isn't that a little large for a sports car? I mean, I guess with 10 cylinders to power, it'd only go 45 feet with a normal carrera tank, but still!

I think my Durango only has 100 L, for comparison...

Have you taken a front row ride of Superman in Six Flags? This car is even faster than Superman.

Porsche has a habit of underestimating their accelleration and top speeds by a good half second/top speed (case in point: the 993 Turbo [1998] was quoted to run "under five seconds", when most magazines were clocking times under or around 4). Thus, I would fully expect this little cabriolet to properly rip out almost every hair follicle on the top of the owner's head.
If you're talking about a curb weight of only 1,250 kg's, and 558 hp, it doesn't take fuzzy math to figure out that car will accellerate...rather quickly. That's an exact calculation, mind you.

Yeah, it's about time for me to get out of the house and go to a real amusement park. I just went to Knott's on Wednesday. The only real rides are Supreme Scream and Ghost Rider. I must say Ghost Rider is one hell of a woodent coaster. Supreme Scream is good but not as good as The Edge at Magic Mountain.

I took my girlfriend to Knott's last week. When she was on Supreme Scream with me, she was scared to cry. Me feel bad.

I got aroused last night! Even though it was like 20 degrees. It's really cold here in the Bay Area these days.

(now let's see how off topic we can get this)

Yeah, goddamit! I was always being told how nice and warm it was in California ALL YEAR ROUND!! What's up with this cold? If I wanted frost on my windshield, I would have stayed in NEW YORK!

I know man. I swear SF shouldn't be California anymore. They should cut the state off right below SF and make the Bay Area and everything above a new state. Call it Calaska or something. Can you believe it actually snowed in SF a couple days ago?

You guys are wimps, it was just a little cold snap. But I must admit, it does seem like this winter in California is a tad bit colder.
