How do you know it is clogged? Are you sure it isn't just low on coolant? Does the heater control valve (if there is one) work?
If it truly is clogged, the core may need replacing. Do both of the heater hoses get hot when the van reaches operating temperature?

just a guess but be ready to buy a new heater core
on the other hand some 90's chevys had this problem worse than anything i've ever seen. a system flush ended up needing heater core and water pump. couple months later a new short block. my inlaws were ticked. a flush in cinti, oh is about 75.00 |

you can get that sort of thing done at a rapid oil. I don't think they cost THAT much. However, that can be a hard thing to know if you actually need one. It's possible your core is shot, or that the thermostate is sticking.
