New Door Locks?
My keyless entry stopped working and for some reason my key wouldn't unlock my driver side door, maybe the cold weather plus water. So I decided to go through the passenger side. To my surprise the key didn't even fit into the lock. That's when I realized when I had a car accident a few years ago they replaced the whole door. Eventually I got the door opened and fixed my keyless entry doodad.
So how do I go about getting a key for the replaced door or have the door lock replaced so it's fits they key I already have? Or should I just let it be?

A locksmith can make a key for you or if you prefer to have all locks match, just see your local dealer.
I'm surprised that the key didn't fit the passenger side lock. Even if the key was cut different the key itself should have fit into the slot unless the lock was somehow from a different year or make. ![]()
