Folding Bicycle

Anyone know whats a good folding bicycle? Any brand/make/model recommendations? I'm hoping to use it to bike to various bus stops and/or light rail stations. I imagine that I'll be only biking at most 5 miles in between stations, and there are some hills in between, but nothing terribly steep.

So basically I'm looking for a foldable bike thats easy to carry around and is capable of handling the mean streets of Los Angeles. If anyone has had experience with these, I'd sure love to hear from you peoples.

(yes, gas prices are killing. but unlike most people, at least I'm attempting to do something about it, rather than just )

Don't have any experience with folding bikes but bikeforums.net has a thread dedicated to them. I'm sure they could point you in the right direction.

(yes thats a great blog btw. sent it to all my white friends...)

back on topic, I'm currently eyeing the Dahon Speed D7, as its not too terribly expensive, compared to the other models. But I need to go to the local store and give it a test drive.

I am not white, but I do own a folding bike. I have the Giant Halfway:

I used to use it a lot more but now it just sits in my storage unit. Want to buy mine?
