Nice. Except won't it a little bit weird when I drive my GS430 to Ford dealer and ask to test drive their Focus.

I remember when I drove my M3 and went check out some Honda with my friends. The sales people approached us and opened the doors when the car stopped. Feel a little bit weird. Anyhow.

Actually I walk to school every day. The earliest class I have this quarter starts at 8 AM and that's T and R. It's cold and windy out there. No wonder I caught a cold last week. Ha-chu~

You drive a Lexus and you walk to school? It makes me wonder who's owning who in this relationship. You must love your GS a lot.

(I really shouldn't talk, though...)

Ha Ha. I live within walking distance to UCLA. Do you know how hard it is to find a parking space either in school or in WestWood?

I do love my GS a lot. As a matter of fact, I just tint my car this afternoon. median platinum 7 pc. It has more reflection than titanium and fits the silver car body perfectly.

Heh... yeah, good point. Been to UCLA and had to deal with that nightmare.

Here at UCSD, parking is not too bad. Except that you have to pay bank to get it...

So back with I was in the preclinical years, there I was, with two cars, walking to school...

Back in the good old days, you had to walk ten miles to school and back... uphill both ways, Apex?

Parking at Berkeley is totally non-existent. I live in a house five blocks from campus (so I walk, obviously) and we could rent the parking spots in our driveway for a few hundred a semester. It would be sweet if three of the five of us didn't have cars.

hey i feel you ice...i used to live on blake st near the campus and parking was nonexistant. i road my skateboard everywhere, there's no point even trying to park usually. it was even worse when i lived on berkeley way. it doesnt matter when you live in a college town like that though, everything is so centrally located, you dont really mind walking or whatever.

Yeah, no kidding. Walking is about the only exercise I get, anyway, so I don't mind doing it. Despite my constant resolutions to start running again, the mile or so that I walk around campus is the main part of my exercise.

Pretty much the only time I drive is to get out of Berkeley or go to Costco. (Mmmm, $3 for a 5-pound bag of chips...)

No, I live on Hilgard. 4 weeks ago, that was before the quarter started. Nope, I didn't go to Sunset at that moment.

Sorry.. I should have been a little more clear. Did you happen to be driving down sunset near UCLA. I was about a mile away from UCLA down sunset and saw a decked out Lexus... This was on the 5th of January....

No. That is really not me.

My GS430 is silver, lowered, tint and has UCLA's license frame. Usually I would walk near UCLA and WestWood Village unless it rains or I pick up my ex.

Parking at PSU sucks real bad too!! I guess it's all the damn Universities state wide. Another problem are the officers walking around giving tickets. I swear they enjoy giving those away. Same thing goes for the Tow-Truck drivers. They just driver around hoping to find a car they can take with them.

Hey dodo, how's the GS430 drive? Any different from the previous models? I heard that the GS series should have a Sports model comin' out.

Ah......Lexus.

It does, the L-tuned.

BTW, dodo, I hear that the Steering ECU mod works GREAT. A friend just did his. Only took a few moments. Pretty cheap too, you can get the ECU for down to $130. Really tightens up the steering and improves the on-center feel.
