Unhappy Weird noise when i start my car

My car is a 99 honda prelude stick and everytime i start my car and start moving, my car makes a little humming noise for 2 seconds and stops. It only happens after the car has been sitting still for a while (like overnight). Then after that everything is fine. Do you guys have any idea what's wrong or is this normal when the car ages? My friend has the 97 version of this car and it never does this. The dealer also can't seem to find what's wrong.

Nothing is wrong. That is your antilock brake system. It uses compressed air and it is a normal function.

I'm surprised your dealer didn't know.

I think you're confused, Leon. I think he means his auto dealer. Automotive dealers are the Pointy Earred Bosses of the dealer world.
