info for Nanotech on 88 Accord LXi

Nanotech, thanks for the report. The car is for sale and I'm in Washington, DC. Here's the scoop on it.

It's in fair condition, worst attribute is that it has its share of squeaks and rattles, and the stereo was stolen last year. Paint is discolored in a few places--lighter shade of tan than the original color.

I've had the car for 4 years and have replaced a lot (!): transmission (rebuilt), brakes, water pump, CV joints, radiator, exhaust and timing belt.

Looking to sell it for under $2000.

If you are interested, just holler. In any event, we all really appreciate the favors!

so sandman, are you the one running CARFAX'es on my account w/o asking?

I say this because you're the only one that looked at the source code and called me "Nathan" instead of "nano. Nathan Isn't my name... its someone elses.

See, all of a sudden, i have like 57 carfaxes run on my account, instead of the 40-some-odd i had lastnight, adn i dont like that.

All you 1-post people can thank whoever it is (probably sandman?) for screwing up, because unless i know you (i'e' - lots of posts) i'm not gonna run anymore. Sorry.

BTW, dont go saying "but its free" or "but you left your email in the source code" etc... Because its the principle of the matter, based on an honor system, no weather its free or not. There's stuff you don't know... like how many times i've had to take the time to fill out questionares from carfax about every time i run 10 of them.

Plus, you didnt pay for it in the begenning.

If any of you long-time members want me to run one, email or message me, and i'll be happy to help.

Nope, but when I looked at getting a $5000 guarantee it listed the email address and I assumed it was you. I got the guarantee through this link http://www.carfax.com/cfm/promo.cfm?name=nbc4. By Doing the following:
1. Send a written request to CARFAX for a Clean Title History Claim Form.
2. Fill out the Claim Form completely and provide all required supporting documents.
3. Mail the completed Claim Form, signed and notarized, to CARFAX, Inc., 10304 Eaton Place, Suite 500, Fairfax, VA 22030 -- Attention: Clean Title History Guarantee.

I am sorry, if my actions may have caused someone to investigate the code and run those reports, but it wasn't me.

Everyone can go here http://www.carfax.com/cfm/promo.cfm?name=nbc4 for 1 free and save Nanotech9 the work. You only get one.

Again I am sorry Nanotech9 if I caused you any problems by calling you "Nathan". You tried to do a good thing in sharing this with others and I appreciated it , but someone else took advantage of it.

No offense taken. I would be pissed too if someone started using my account without asking, when you were doing all the work for FREE for people...

No there are many that have taken the nomiker of Sandman, big resurgance when the Sandman comic book came out and when Metallica
had their hit song "Enter Sandman" I usually hang out at other forums mostly related to BMW's and Acura, but this one looks like a good one thanks...

Nano, if you are not too busy, could you please run this number for me? 1J4FY19SXVP532295 Thanks so much! Also, would you recommend subscribing to carfax? We are shopping for a used Jeep and don't want to get screwed. Thanks again! Kim
