Unhappy Ticket Help

I just got pulled over... And the Officer was so nice...

He informed me that I was in a School Zone...

My radar didn't go off... Is he just guestimating my speed...?

Mind you he pulled me over a mile down the road...

Is there anyway to beat it...?

Thanks in advance...

No Children....

At 2:10...

I was in traffic... That is why I find it hard to believe... He blew through a light... And speed down the hill...

Just to catch me...

Doesn't show radar... So I'm guessing the landmark...

I heard that you can get pass this.

Your just gonna have to battle this out in court.
If he can guess-timate your speed he can guesstimate how fast it take a quarter to fall from your shoulder to the ground (this has been scientifically prove that quarter falling from a avg. height person falls at a constant speed).

There is a book on this and that guy who wrote has proven it and he embarrassed the $hit out of the cop in front of the judge.

Sorry I can't remember the book, but if you do a little research you can get away with it.

damn that sux

Sorry bout johhny law, but u should definatly fight it, take a visit to ur local Law library and look up the infraction in the law books. Half the time the officer never shows up. so gather more evidence, and give it a shot.
Good lUck

Yeah thanks...

I think I'm going to... Since I was in traffic...

And I know I wasn't going as fast as he says I was...

Plus I thought they had to be in full uniform (Hat) when they get to the car for the first time..

But oh well... I'm sure he'll be in court...

Thanks a bunch...

If on the ticket, he didn't write down how fast you were driving and you didn't drive like 15~20 mph over the limit, you may have a chance to win. And hope he won't be appear in the court, then everything is easy.

School zone I think only applies an hour before school starts and an hour after school ends. Last I checked, school ends either at 2:30 or 3 at most places. Check your local law on that one. Most public libraries will have statute books you can look up. Search for traffic codes and statutes. I've never heard that the cop needs to be wearing their hat when they get out as most cops in CA don't have hats.
There is definetly a book by a guy who teaches you how to beat tickets. I'm sure you can search on Amazon or go to your local chain bookstore and you can find it based on subject matter alone.

Sounds like this cop was just a royal a-hole.

I know the Troopers in NY have to...

I have several friends that are on the job...

I was courteous...

I even told him to have a nice day... Even if he didn't have the courtesy to say it...

Last time I got caught for speeding (50mph) at school zone on Saturday. Perhaps I shouldn't have pleaed guilty?
