Motor Oil

I went to buy some motor oil today, and the guy at auto zone said i should buy 20w-50 because my engine was 124,000 miles. any opinions/research that could help me out. thnx

Good idea. The more miles, the heavier weight oil you should use, especially during the summer. There are times when straight 50W can be used.

Uhm a slow (but getting faster) 90 civic, 1.5l sohc. pumps at a whooping 100hp.
