For Those of You in Left-Side-Of-The-Road Driving Countries

Ok, this may come across as a really dumb question, but everyone had to ask once, right? And I'm really curious to know....

If the steering wheel is on the right side of the car, does that mean the entire car is a mirror image of a car you'd find Los Angeles for instance? I mean, is the gas pedal on the left, and the clutch on the right? And if you shift gears with your left hand, does that mean that gears 3-4 are to the left of 1-2? or does the gear arrangement stay the same.

What else....oh yeah - what about windshield wipers. Most of the ones here move counter-clockwise on the way up, and clockwise on the way down (as seen from inside the car). Same? Or the other way around?

Thanks!!

I have not seen many but the gear layout is the same. I've heard people say that one of the things that seemed odd when driving was that first gear was far away.

Everythings the same driver wise, except ur on the right, gas is still with the right, and clutch left.
i think that its wierd that 1st gear is not near the person, u use 1-3 more than 4,5,R. it makes more sense to me that its closest gear toward the driver. O Well.
