Scratch Removal

Someone just vented their frustration out on my friend's car with their keys leaving a nice little design. I was wondering if anyone has any ideas of products to get that out. I was thinking of trying out that GS27 stuff, but i read online that it doesn't work that well. Anyone else have any better luck with any other products? Thanks in advance for any input.

GS27 sucks, it works for a while but after a few days its gone. if it gets wet, forget about it.
if the scratch isnt too deep try touch up paint, lightly buff it so that it is level and smooth then wax it. that will protect the metal as a short term solution, but the best thing to do is to get it painted.

has he got a clearcoat?

if so, then wetsand the clearcoat in teh general area. Then, respray the area with more clearcoat, re-sand, then apply buffing compound, polishing compound, glazing compound, and then wax. All gone.

Ur best bet is to Find the a$$ who did it, and Make him pay for twice the amount of getting a custom paint job (at gunpoint). have fun.
.........
Yea repainting it is best for the long run, cause if these products/techniques dont work, a rusted body is gunna cost a LOT more.

Riiiiight. In the unlikely event he finds this guy, going to jail for assault is going to help.

Thanks for all your help, my friend is looking to go really cheap. She's got a fairly new accord but doesn't have much cash. We'll probalby try the GS27 for kicks, or maybe whatever pep boys suggests. the wetsanding and refinishing process would probably be a bit costly. I also just found out tonight that another one of our friends had her tires slashed yesterday. I'm just scared for my car now.
