this may not be true, but i always thought that RF modulators would have some level of sound degredation. i think that there are some aftermarket panasonic or other changers that will work with your stock system. check around or call crutchfield.

the Panasonic CX-DP610 should fit your car, you will need an adaptor\ as well.

Sound loss?

Tommy thanks for the links, I am not sure if this changer can play mp3's.
I have tons of mp3 cd's and it takes a lot to turn them into wave files and burn again.

oops, i didnt see where you said you wanted an mp3 changer. im not sure if its true, but ive always thought that RF changers lose some sound quality because the quality of a radio signal is much worse than from a cd. but it is directly connected so there isnt the problem of distance. im not sure of it, ive just stayed away from them because of that reason.

get an mp3 jukebox and an in dash changer with RCA inputs. You can then easily plug in the jukebox to your car stereo as well as connect it to a home stereo. You wont have any lost or scratched disks. It may cost more but i think the extra cost is worth it.

I have an iPod and just the fact that I can carry 10 GB of MP3s with me is awesome. I currently have 650 MP3's on just over 3 GB for a total of 2.1 days of nonstop music.

You're right stay away from them. RF modulators tend to be underpowered and accept all manner of interference, from ground loop noise to weak FM signals at nearby frequencies. Ick.

I think this is what you wanted:

Kenwood KDC-CMP59FM
10-disc Add-on CD/MP3 changer
http://www.crutchfield.com/cgi-bin/S...MP59FM&o=m&a=0
$349

Sony CDX-565MXRF
10-disc Add-on CD/MP3 Changer
http://www.crutchfield.com/cgi-bin/S...DX565M&o=m&a=0
$279

both are RF, prices are from crutchfield.
