but, at least the WRX grows on you, and can look pretty cool.

sleeper car is like yur sitting there in your prelude (let's say) and you've got some nice little mods, and this car pulls up next to you and starts revvin' on you. You look at the car and laugh, and start revin' on it. light goes green, and you see that crappy car, halfway down the street

I guess he's not into old school car. A good sleeper car would be the Corolla SR-5 coupe with a S2K engine!

Are u mentally ill, the hachiroku is the best $800 ar u can buy. stock with a 16v dohc. find a better car thats rear wheel drive with the reliability of a toyota. and the new corrolas are front wheel drive. and why would u rip a new engine out of a new car. if u find a totalled s2000 with a perfect engine, drop it into one of the best drifting machines around. Youve got yourself a kickass car.

From the replies I see here, I can tell the huge contrast in cultures. It's like people who think all anime is just cartoons.

The AE86 (or Corolla SR-5 here in the states) is one of the most popular drift cars in Japan for people on a budget. It's probably equal to the popularity of the '57 Chevy for drag racing. If you guys even know what drifting is, you would know that gobs of power and a nice exterior mean nothing. It's all about balance. You don't appreciate the 86 for the looks of it, but for the way it handles just like how you don't think twice about how a go-cart looks. The high-reving, low torque motor on the S2000 is an excellent match for the 50/50 weight balanced, RWD AE86 for drifting.

U make a good point, its one of my favorite cars of all time. i think there are a lot of hachi's that look really nice. with cf hoods nice rimz and nice paint. Man i wish my 90 civic was rear wheel drive with that much power and potential.
Btw the hachi in america is Corrola Gt-s, the SR5 is a coupe.

People are probably guessing from the aftermarket intake and the heat wrapped headers.
