Things I didn't know before; 70-80 GPM of fuel at top speed; 200 MPH at 300 Feet and 2 seconds; 4.5 G's accelerating and during chute deployment.

In addition, the multiple clutches get so hot that they are still smoking after thirty minutes.
Also, computers are prohibited from controlling engine functions during a race because they fear that the costs of installing these systems would spiral out of control.

Traction control is also currently banned, or they would be a lot faster and a lot quicker.
