Need a few Acura Integra GSR parts

I know the first place I should look is an auto wrecking yard, but due to the fact that 90% of my population are people who buy junked cars to turn into Speeding Death Traps I can't seem to find any in my area.

About 3 months after I got my car, some retard thought my car was too cool for him, or that I wasn't good enough to own it or something and decided to walk up my hood, onto my sunroof then jump off my car, kicking off the side view mirror on my driver side..

Well, luckily it's only the pot metal piece that attached to my spring in the mirror.. Bad side.. no dealership will sell me that piece (I'd say 10 bux as most), but instead only want to sell me the whole mirror. (around 500 bux or so)..

I went to an online site that you describe the part and they have a ring of auto yards around the nation that get this information and contact you if they have the part.. I got one hit, and he wanted to sell me the whol mirror for 90 bux.. well I don't want the mirror, and I don't want to spend 90 bux.. I'm thinking the person who had the part was too lazy and didn't want to take mirror apart to get the piece or something..

Also, when detaching the mirror from my door panel, my dad decided it would be cool to bend the little rubber/plastic piece that runs the length of the door panel and keeps bugs from crawling up your window and into your car (it probably keeps just seals up the car and keeps the window from hitting the door, but I liked my idea better)..

Well again.. they won't sell me that piece.. the dealership says i need to get a whole new door panel.. and I don't feel like shelling out 700-1000 bux for something that looks like a winshield wiper..

So please, if anyone can help out, anyone works at a honda/acura dealership or something and can get these parts.. I'd really appreciate it.. I am needing to sell the car soon as I will be leaving home for awhile and have no need for a car and don't feel like paying the bills on it any longer.

its not just the oem mirrors that are expensive, all oem products are pricey =T, anyways try looking into an alternative such as these spoon mirrors, they are expensive but much cheaper than the oem's. There are copies of this mirror which can be had at a cheaper price.

My hood is fine.. thank god..when he went up on roof and jumped on my sunroof, that's what sucked.. Luckily he just bent the track and I was able to pull it back into alignment and have had no problems with it so far..

And as for the other mirrors, I have motorized mirrors and I have the Super Sonic Blue paint job (which from what I understand the paint is kind of pricey as well.

I guess I'll just have to keep looking into the wrecking yards.. I need to sell my car pretty soon and don't want to sell it with a mirror missing and a bent piece on the inside.. But if anyone just happens to see these parts, please let me know..

if anyone ever did that to my car...the gates of hell would open and they would get the beat down of their life. especially after i get it painted and put the carbon fiber hood on. somebody better hold me back from nailing the people who touch my car!

(yes im passionate bout it)

on a side note...havent seen the parts anywhere but oem parts are pretty expensive
