Sway Bar Recommendations

Hey guys...I'm thinking of getting sway bars for a 98 civic coupe ex but I don't really have a particular brand in mind. I just know that the car is getting way too much body roll and I need to fix it. Any recommendations for such an investment?

Eibach is undoubedtly the world's #1 company for lowering springs. They do not sag after time, and their springs are very progressive. The springs do not give a bad ride either.

I wouldn't be surprised if Eibach sway bars are of the same quality.

if your car is rolling because it is lowered, i would first check to see if your shocks are bad, then you may consider changing them. you may also consider stiffer springs.

if you dont care about the brand name of the sway bar there are a ton of knock offs out there(obx, focus, etc.) which you can prob hook up you whole car for under $200. if you want some that are prob made of better materials and look better, you can get DC, GAB just to name a couple.

i want to tell you to get the gs-r stock 13mm, or the usdm type r rear sway bar 22mm, however, i think you will need the gsr lower control arm... if you get polyurethane bushings, remember to use grease liberally, squeeks can get annoying.

I don't think DC makes sway bars. Strut bars yes. I would go for Eibach or Suspension Techniques. I wouldn't even bother thinking about rice brands like OBX or Matrix and other crap like that. OEM Acura bars may be a bit pricey if you don't have connections and they aren't very aesthetically pleasing either.

DC makes sway bars but I wouldn't buy DC suspension parts. They look good but sway/strut bars with holes in the middle don't look strong too me. Go with Eibach or Neuspeed and you will be happy.
