Nuespeed springs :(

Damn sorry---------

Spec:
Civiv EX 4dr
Tokicio shocks and struts still good and in working order.
Nuespeeds springs.

it sag only on the right side/passenger side.
my camber is so off because of this. I rather buy new springs than get camber kit. 1 because the spring will sag for sure with the camber kit again and tire wear sucks.

Bought my Nuespeed springs 1.5inche drop in 98 and now it's wacked- sag. Can I still complain to nuespeed for replacement?

You guys know of a place that I can purchase spring with a 1 inche drop? Some where around Orange County would be nice.

thanks,
nhbilly

Well, in any case...

Dynamic Autosport in Lake Forest is a pretty good place to check out. The guys there are pretty helpful and seem to know what they're talking about.

Theres also Inline Four in Westminster - if this is for a Japanese car.

Don't know about for Honda's but in VW's Neuspeed makes a sport and sofsport spring. The sofsport drops ~0.75" and the sports are ~1.75".

he said it was for a Civic

Inline Four would be a great place to go to. I've never been to their store, but the prices they offer online at www.inlinefour.com are pretty good. I'm sure if you go in person you could haggle. I don't think the price on lowering springs has fluctuated much in the last 5-7 years so I'm guessing the cost to be around $200-$300. I've never heard of Neuspeed springs sagging. Do you carry around a lot of weight often? Try Eibach Pro-Kit springs.

Upon further thought, are you sure it's the springs that are sagging and not that you have blown shocks? Are you still riding on stock or OEM shocks?

update with the correct info. sorry.

tokico shocks/struts.

I think my springs is wacked and beside, raising the height will compensate for the camber being out of specs. Tire wear is so uneven for a drop of 1.5 I want to raise it up to 1 or .75 but I do not want the sag to happen again. Got any recommendation?

thanks,
nhbilly

Are your tires and wheels stock wheel/tire specs? You will experience some negative camber wear no matter what spring you go with. The Eibach Pro-Kit set up will probably give you the least amount of neg. camber. The drop is about 1.5" I don't think you're going to be able to find a spring that will drop your car less than that unless you go with coil-overs and tune it to the highest setting. H&R might have a spring that lowers even less, but I'm not sure. I have the Pro-Kit/Tokico blue shocks combo on my 94 Accord and the wear wasn't too bad when I had my stock wheels. I haven't experienced any sag with the Eibach springs and I've had them for about 4 years. I now have 215/45/17 wheels and tires and the negative camber is almost non-existant. I also rarely carry heavy loads or passengers in the back seat.

You might want to make sure your shocks are still good and there isn't something else wrong with your suspension too.

How often do you rotate your tires?

Sounds like you should stick with the stock ride height then and maybe improve the handling with roll/sway/strut bars and new bushings.

I would suggest coil-overs and adjustable shocks, but you mentioned you don't want to spend that much more into your car. Maybe give up on the Civic or go with stock ride-height springs. My dad has an Integra GSR with most of the suspension goodies minus lower springs because he drives so much and his car still handles pretty nicely.

I have a hard time believing that out of a set of new springs that one would be defective. I think that something was installed incorrectly or you have left some other factor out of the story you are telling us.
