A double decker spoiler must make it go twice as fast.

'80s SVO Mustangs had double spoilers as factory equipment, but they were almost tasteful by comparison:

DID YOU HEAR THE NEWS? for every layer on a spoiler it adds like 50-100 hp. Also does that extra thing on the trunk count as a third wing on a spoiler.

Spoilers on cop cars (which you see sometimes) are installed primarily to show where the end of the trunklid is - meaning it keeps the driver from inadvertently backing into things...

I'll take your word for it, but if a cop who's in a car most of the time can't figure out where the back of his car is, that would puzzle me.

It started with the '91 or '92 Caprices, which have poor rear visibility. Most municipalities are self-insured, and buy vehicles at fleet prices, so it was cheaper for them to have the cars built with spoilers than it was to fix the rear of cars that were backed into things.

I saw a Toyota Matrix and a Volvo with aluminum wings so it proves that ricing doesn't have any limit!

My friend informed me that the aluminum wings are primarily used as a picknic bench for the kids. Check it out, can fit 2-4 kidz on that thing while eating lunch from a long day of racing!

Pretty much anything more than a lip on the trunk of a car is useless, unless you have a porsche or better.
