How much is gas?

I'm not talking about the best price in your neighborhood but the price of the station closest to where you live.

Please state the following:

1) Name of the Gas Company
2) Price of the gas (unleaded/midgrade/premium)
3) What car you drive
4) How much it costs you to fill up

Today I stopped by the local mobil
Prices were (2.08/2.18/2.28)
I drive a Maxima
Filled up at about 1/4 tank for $28.50

One place tried to bump it to $1.74/gal the other day but it is all back down to $1.62/gal now. In western Kansas.

i bought gas last night in lansing (where i work -- i live near detroit).

i was at a Citgo station, and paid $1.629/gal for regular.

i drive a 92 buick regal, and i think it cost me $21.75 to fill up (the tank was mostly empty).

I'd like to know why ya'll are throwing your money out the window using premium gasoline. Unless your engine is knocking/pinging when you use 87 octane, there's really no benefit in using a higher grade.
