Angry looped out...

maybe an automotive thread???

so anyway, i looped the bike out lastnight at about 95mph in a 3rd gear rear-peg standup.

Ouch.

I heard it was spectacular - flipped end over end as high as 10' in the air.

i let go and started rolling about 50 times and came out ok... scraped up knees, big scrape on my left ass cheek, a mildly sparined left ankle, and a black-and-blue right heal.

Leather Jackets and gloves WORK GOOD. Not even scraped up too badly. first layer of the glove on my left hand got ripped off completely (which would been my hand had i not been wearing the glove).

Buddy hooked me up with Lortab 5 or something - one of those and 800mg of Ibuprofen gets me feeling pretty good

Time to find a new bike. Yay. I needed a reason to upgrade hehe. Lucky me i hadn't put on the $500 worth in parts yet that had just arrived / will be arriving soon. (full Yosh pipe / headers etc) Motor is good, and tank came out un-touched. Swing-arm is crumpled, both rims bent, front smooshed (forks and all). Sides arent too bad at all.

I'll post pics tomorrow sometime.

Its all about the learning curve hehe

hehe - yeah. I'm pretty freakin lucky on this one. The main thing is i didn't hit anything, and i was rolling UP hill, and slowed a bit faster than normal.

Whats funny is, i'm gonna try to get another bike before the 17th of April so i can make it to teh track day with teh rest of teh Tribe ( www.speed-tribe.com )

I'm thinking an R6 would do rather nicely.

BTW, anyone have any good deals on Nokia phones for ATT service? Mine was a 6200 from a year or so ago. I want something that small, and durable if possible. Thanks!

I can't imagine why this would be a necessary feature!

Glad you're not hurt. Sucks about the unfortunate damage to the bike. Wish I had the balls to get a bike and do some tricks.

bike was cheap, and relatively disposable. I mean i dont like it being all smashed up, but i knew doing what i was doing, i would eventually smash it up - its just part of the game.

the only reason why i'm not getting a bike is because i know i will kill myself, the way i live my life is i have no regard for it

Yeah, my buddy smashed up his Jixxer last year before shipping out to Kuwait. When he got there, his arm was all swollen up and hot.

He went to the base doc who ended up pulling asphalt out of his arm and told him that he was about a day away from Gangreen and amputation!!

Ouch!! He thought it was just a little road rash that would heal up..

That just brought flashbacks of the end of Requiem for a Dream. Thanks!

finally, some pics...

this is where teh guages used to be... wiring harness is ripped to shreds.

swingarm - equally crumpled on both sides.

this is where it first impacted - 12 O'clocked that sucker at 90ish.

so far, my injuries are NOT swelling, anywhere. They are rather warm, but not swelling. I think they'll be ok.

HHAHA i remeber her. (kinda sad)

But man im scared to hell of bikes because my brothers friend Rocky was in the hospital for a couple weeks after being hit off his yamaha.

And if i can quote that 'C' Movie Biker boyz "you know wat we call bikers in the ER, Organ Donars!" i just saw that preview 100 times, stuck in my head. Be careful.
