Does anyone else out there drive a VW? I drive a '00 Passat.

Just curious.

A pretty solid number of members drive VWs.

I wish. If I had the money and time to find one, I would've got an old Sciroco instead of a new Civic. Don't know why but that car just a has a special place in my heart. Possibly memories of spinning round and round then hitting the center divide but walking away from it (No, I wasn't driving).

Me too. Don't make it there too often any longer!

The first generation Scirocco was a nice looking car. I would love to see one with nice wheels and tires, plus lowered, too.

I wouldn't mind a VW Phaeton in a few years...the new BMW 7 sucks IMO.

Going to look at an '81 Scirocco S tonight for an autocross car. Getting tired of throwing around the 3100 pound Passat out there. It does quite well for what it is, but you can't overcome that weight.

I assume you guys have chipped your Passats. If so, what chip do you have. I am thinking about going with the Autothority Chip. They are very close to me, and I can get a deal on the chip.

i was really really close to going for the k04 (bought everything necessary for it already) but backed out at the last minute (having a tip and everything)

anyway, i currently have 0.8 bar neuspeed P chip, which is very conservative...when i was going with the k04 route, i had the giac chip which was 1.0 bar...definitely worth the money and noticeable difference btw the 0.8 bar chip....i miss my GIAC

i think u'll be happy with almost any known chip out there, since the 1.8T is jus so full of potential...
