Test Drove CLK320 & G35 Coupe

Wow, all i gotta say is the G35 is one sweet ride. So much power and the handling was great! Dealer allowed me and my wife to both gun it on straighways and take it at 50mph on a curvy street. Hugged the road like a magnet. I can see that these babies were selling like hotcakes because we waited 30 min JUST to test drive it. Anyway, I gotta practice my manual transmission driving because you just can't go wrong with 280hp, 6speed tranny, brembro breaks and much much more. 36k roughly. Not too shabby if you ask me.

CLK320 was...well...alright. Very plush, but the performance was nothing to brag about. Nor is the 50k sticker price for that matter.

Next up will be the 350Z, Z4, Mazda6 and possibly the RX8 once its released.

Repeat after me... "BMW is the king... everything else is $hit... Infiniti is just a dressed up Nissan..." At least that's what they preach over at the roadfly.org BMW forum.

Jih, liking a G35 coupe? Say it aint so! Pay $44.5k for a comparably equipped 330Ci instead! Even your beluga tastes bland when you don't have the blue and white propeller.

Or save $5,000 and get the G35 with out having to pick through all the BMW packages and options. Correction: save $7,000.

It's also Renault if that means anything. Actually the G35C is a ver nice car and I like it better than the 350Z.

No!!! don't make me go back to the blue and white propeller.
Actually, as I've mentioned in past posts. I'm sort of bitter about the fact that my 325i has had so many "minor" issues in the last 2 years. Also, being married sort of forces me to watch my spending. I'm sure you can relate.
Anywho, I've been looking because I'm thinking of terminating my lease. The infiniti guys in cerritos offered to buy the remainder of my lease + residual out, so who knows. Anything's possible at this point.
