amp blowing fuses??

gotta question maybe you can help ... i've been running a crossfire 600watt amp w/ 15" sub on i think 8 guage wire for a year and a half. no problems.

my bro installed a 12" sub and he might bump it at louder volumes, but he's already blown 3 fuses in the past few days. yeah .... so he says it's cause the amp isn't big enough, but i'm thinking he might have installed it wrong SOMEHOW (not like it's hard) . i'm gonna have to check out his install, but any thoughts are appreciated.

i don't think it's cause the amp isn't powerful enough because that really doesn't matter ... if the amp gives out 600watts to a 1k+ watt speaker, the speaker will only get 600, not any more than that. oh well.

thanks!

i would like to think i'm pro enough to look at it .. he had 50amp fuses.... looks like i had 30 am fuses. then again, i had the same fuse for a year and a half and he goes through a few fuses a day, i'm gonna have to check the amp wiring... or maybe just run 4 guage wire, i might end up doing that.

so that breaker, are those some special kind for the car??
