Car Stereos w/Satellite Radio Compatability
I am in the market for a new car stereo unit. However, i'm looking for 2 features and i'm not even sure if such a unit exists. If anybody has suggestions i'd appreciate it:
feature 1) DVD+/-R/W capabilities that can read recorded dvds full of music. If that's not available, then CD-RW capabilities that can read mp3 AND mp4/aac files. feature 2) Sirius or XM Radio ready so all i would need is the antenna and the subscription. -Ray |

The deck I have won't read DVD's, but it will read mp3's and I'm almost positive it is set up for xm already. It's the pioneer 8400, it's a sweet deck, I've been really happy with it.

I have a different version, but you can take a look here:
http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/pe..._38309,00.html Looks like they can read off of CD-RW's (I never use them since CD-R's are so cheap). They are very nice, and as I've told many people, you'll love satellite radio if you get it. |

Did you try www.crutchfield.com? Might be some info and comparisons there...
