Gibbs Technology plans to produce 100 Aquadas by the end of the year at a cost of $235,000 each. Earlier land-and-sea cars were unable to go any faster than six miles an hour on the water.

Damn, for a quarter of a $mil I could buy a better boat, a truck to pull it with, a 'vette for the road, and a big garage to put them all in...and still put a hundred grand in the bank.

I think I'll wait until they are a couple hundred thousand bucks cheaper...

Damn, as mentioned.....it doesn't fly and it's slow in water too. For that money, one can buy a nice, fast car AND a nice FAST boat too. OK, so you have to park the car first and hop into the boat but that's usually not too hard. You can also fish from a real boat and legally drink some alcohol too
