Best Tire shine product?
I really like the "wet" look for tires, but I haven't found a product that gives me the shine I'm looking for. I tried Armor All and Black Magic Tire foams and the Black Magic one had a better shine but still not enough... I'm looking for as much shine as possible, with a reasonable price and no wiping (well, if it were a great deal better I suppose I could wipe the tires down. Ugh.) Any help is greatly appreciated! Thanks guys!

I like No Touch Wet 'n Protect...Very glossy shine that lasts reasonably well. I've tried a lot of products and this is the best combination of price, ease of application, and shine that I've found. Usually lasts at least a week, depending on the weather (rain mostly). I always clean my tires first with a general purpose cleaner and a scrub brush. Makes the tire shine more effective. I like it because it doesn't go on as a foam like most other brands. It's more like a clear liquid.

Stick with the clear "baby-oil-like" liquid types. I use Eagle One. I learned from some guys who show their cars, that actual baby oil works best, but it's probably not good for us who actually drive our cars.

most of these are silicon based, what kind of cleaner do you use to get the old stuff off (looking for a specific brand name) cause i cant seem to get it off my tyres (yes thats the cool way they spell tires in europe)

I've tried a bunch of products. I've tried some that said 'no wipe' but they spotted. The best results I've gotten have been from Black Magic wipes and Armor All Extreme Shine (I think that's the name of it). I know you don't want to wipe, but for best results I think it's best to spray onto an applicator (I got two for free with a small bottle of Eagle 1) and then apply to tires.

I've always liked Meguiar's Gold Endurance High Gloss Tire Gel. There is wiping involved, but I think it's worth it. It comes with a sponge applicator and the stuff smells like grape. Meguiar's gel lasts longer than any other product that I've tried.

I tried Meguirs once but it just didn't fit the bill exactly. Well it looks like I'll have to belly up to wiping...sigh...
