I dont know how safe i would feel taking that thing into truly open water. I am having trouble figuring out how they would make it water tight.

Yeah, you gotta think that if the entire bus is truly water-tight, it would be air-tight as well. If you went fully under water, the passengers would suffocate rather than drown.

reminds me of the amphibious vehicle they use in Boston for their "Duck Tours". yes, i've done it on land and then we went into the water. QUACK-QUACK

They have those "ducks" in the Wisconsin Dells as well.

Although, it's obviously much easier to design a vehicle from scratch to be amphibious than it is to convert a regular land-based vehicle into an amphibious one.
