cop showed up
Some of you may remember i wrote about my speeding tickets about a year ago which was 92mph in a 40mph zone. Well after rescheduling several times and etc, the cop showed up, my lawyer told me to plead guilty, which i need now i will have a hearing within 30 days, and i am sure to get 11 points 120$ fine, and the lawyer said i might not get my license suspended since i did have a clean record before that. So in other words i got fukced hard core stylee, no lube, with deep penetration

Only 120 dollars for 52 over the speed limit? I was going one third that amount over the speed limit and got nailed with a ticket that amount. Sounds like as long as you don't get your license suspended then you got off easy. If I was clocked goin 92 in a 40 in chi-town, they'd be sure to have thrown me in the back of the squad car, no questions asked, it's what they call a "felony".

I take it you missed the main point
I couldn't care less about 120, i'd rather they charged me 1000, but not given me any points, unfortunatelly NYC doesn't plea bargain so 11 points it is  |

Sorry to say I don't think you got screwed, I think you screwed yourself. Going 92 in a 40, you've got to accept whatever you get and count yourself lucky if you keep your license.

you might be able to go to a defensive driving class and have some of those points taken off.

In California, if you are goin' over 30 mph the speed limit, your car will be towed and you will be threw in jail.

ouch...11 points off? dont you only get like 10 hehe. thats tuff luck. but 92 on a 40? was it on a local street with stop lights and stuff?

that area is not a residential area, but a place where there are 2 exits to highways and an exit to a residential area, but that's like .5 mile away.

in NY you get
Speeding: 1 to 10 (mph over posted limit) 3 Speeding: 11 to 20 (mph over posted limit) 4 Speeding: 21 to 30 (mph over posted limit) 6 Speeding: 31 to 40 (mph over posted limit) 8 Speeding: Over 40 (mph over posted limit) 11 and when you get 11 points it's a license suspention |
