Why don't you just get your driver's license?
Although I'm guess, I would say yes, but you will have to take the same tests you took to get you learner's. |

permits are only issued to people under the age of 18. once you're older, they'll force you to get your driver's license.
why would you want to renew a permit? there are restrictions for permit holders. |

i was just wondering if you can renew our drivers permit.
because mines only had 6 months to get the training done, while my friends and others have 1 year. is it a typo on my permit paper? Quote:
not over 18 yet... turning 17 in March and I only have my permit. |

Nope...
If your permit expires, have to retake the test and get new permit. |

My permit (in texas) lasted until my next birthday, every birthday I had to get it renewed.

then i think DMV made a typo on mine. it says from 6/14/03 - 12/16/03 i'm going to the DMV to see whats up with it. if its wrong then i guess they'll change it right? or would they make me take my permit over again. ![]() btw, thanks to all those who responded to this thread. |
