Does anybody have this feature in there car, if so how do you like it?

How can I find out what cars have this as an option?

I have navigation in my car. It's a pretty dang useful feature especially when you're in unfamiliar areas. You can find ATMs, gas stations, and restaurants that are closest to your current position. It seems like many cars have it as an option. Almost all Mercedes, BMW, Lexus, Audi, Land Rover, Acura, Infinity, and Porsches have it as an option. It can be found in a lot of other cars such as the Honda Accord, Toyota Camry, Toyota Prius, Nissan Murano have it. I would have to say that navigation is more common in foreign cars versus domestics.

Does anyone have an opinion on the portable car GPS units such as the Navman and the Garmin Streetpilot? Are they worth the money?

My roommate had the Garmin Streetpilot III, the $400ish one. He used it a lot for business trips and getting around new placecs.

www.semsons.com
www.buygpsnow.com

These are my 2 main buying sites for Pocket PC GPS kits... basically take a $200 PDA, add the GPS receiver and software, and you get a COLOR, talking GPS system for your car... cheaper than the $900 Garmin color ones.

Hertz uses a system by Magellan and it's pretty damn good.
Magellan now sells the system as a stand alone unit.
