Where is the best place to sell my car?

I am wondering, which do you think is a better place to sell my car in, the local paper (San Diego Union Tribune) or the web based carsoup.com? I could always go with the more traditional autotrader.com as well.

Plus how does this sound?
2003 Mustang GT, RARE, Black on charcoal leather with appearance package and upgraded rims, all options, 7500 miles.
X dollars OBO (so as not to seem like an actual add here)

Autotrader is most definatly the best way to go. Also become a member of Mustang Forums that are in your state, most of them will have a For sale section.

If you want to dump it ASAP, you might want to try CarMax. I hear they are the dealership that pays the most.

The CarMax suggestion was something I actually came up with, but I would need to drive up to LAX and I dont want to do that unless the amount will be sufficient. I have a friend who got rid of his Tahoe at one in Florida said he received full KBB.

I might make a call up there to see what they will pay, and if its enough, make the drive. I just done want to have to drive 2 cars up and end up driving both back.

There is no Carmax in SD? If the dealership is near the airport, just fly back to SD.
