new gauge cluster....

ok so i had my topic a few weeks ago about the lights on my gauge cluster being bad (not the lights the actual lighted gauges from apc) so i called them and they said they would send me a new one,and i just asked them to send a confirmation to my email, 2 and a half weeks later, no confirmation (this was tuesday). So i buy a brand new ex gauge cluster for my car off ebay. Today the cluster comes and guess what so do the new gauges, so yea i put the cluster in my car and it looks banging, not like my other one where the glow burned your eyes, this one has black gauges and the lights are white around them. So im going to sell the other set plus cluster on ebay, anyways figured i would share my fun with you.

Pics tmrw of the new cluster

I've always been kinda "skured" of messin' with my gauge package... cause of all the horror stories I've from people who did it incorrectly.

Good thing the HEMI came with white faced gauges... so I don't even have to think of messin' with them.

Good job on your install.

I have also heard of people REALLY REALLY messing up their installs. Speedo goes unwind.

These arent hard tho, its the whole cluster, you just put it in its plug and play really, with the whole cluster you cant mess anythin up, now if you have to change the faces or needles thats a pain in the ass, but the good thing about buying the whole cluster is that you pull out your old one put in the new on, your done in less than an hour Snow, have you seen the jdm cluster for a our car they look hard=P

Hee hee... my '96 T-Bird only has 78,900 miles on it. Pretty much buying the previous Dakota 2 years ago, and now the HEMI has pretty much saved a bunch of miles on it.

But she still runs like a dream.

ya'll are lightweights... I had a '96 Prizm with like 160kmi on it, and my '91 BMW has over 200K on it (although the speedo broke at 150k - but i finally fixed it now with the engine rebuild, which turned out not to be necessary after all)

i like the jdm clusters, but the speed is in kilometers per hour and i dont think i could remember to convert everytime i was driving. I dunno i could of just added a little bit of nailpolish at the points when i was really going 20, 40, 60, 80 and 100

For some of us... we try NOT to run our vehicles into the ground.
