1991 Chevrolet Sprint

Last Sunday, the pastor of our church said that he owned a Chevrolet Sprint which averaged 55 MPG and once got 60 MPG. I looked for a link to verify these figures and the one listed above was as close as I could find. I wonder if those older Sprints are still around and how much they are bringing? If one could be purchased for $1000, it would pay for itself in no time.

Not many survived... They weren't known for their reliability.
PCM (computer) failures are common - the reman replacement is $900 or so. Most pre-1996 GM PCMs (for a Chevy Celebrity, for example) can be replaced with a GM reman at about $125 +/-... Most dealer parts for anything (unless it's wildly popular or has a very long model run) get real hard to come by after eight years or so...
