Okay, say that the world was coming to a near end and all that you could drive was a rice racer. Which would it be? For me I think I would get a Chevy Suburban and drop it to about 1/4" with 20" rims and 1" profile tires. Than add flaring front spoiler and rear wing. Also I would put on half of the car a bunch of Mugen power and other such stickers in Chinese characters of course. And on the other side a bunch of other sticker, mind you each add's 2.35 hp each (3hp if its in Chinese). Then of course I would add a typeR badge in the rear with spyder written everywhere possible. Than of course I would get 8 tail pipes, 6" diameter each. Next on the list, neon lamps all underneath the running boards, oh yeah I forgot, I need running boards of course (its a suv silly those things are high up so I need a step to get in).

After all of this it would be near ricerized. But now, there's more. Next I would paint half of the front windshield to make it look more low profile. Than switch the lamps to a blue tint with fog lights in bright yellow (leaving them on all the time of course ). Then next would be to take out that V8 engine and put in one of those beautiful 4 potter vtech's mmm mmm.

Oh and I need to switch the shiffter thing to make it look more like a manual tranny. Than switch the steering wheel to a momo or something. And then take out the seats and put in bucket seats.

Hmmm what else is there? Eh. . . Oh yeah, I need new ground works all around. Something not too flashy but all wavy looking and stuff.

So how does it sound? Damn it's late. . . I'm whigging out. . . sorry for this post, don't know what I'm thinking. Oh well, maybe I'll tell about my dream riced up Kia Sephia . Or perhaps mah ricerized Harley . hehe. /me waits to hear other's schweet rides.

I would get a USPS Mail Truck. I can drive on the other side and people will think it is a REAL import. Then I would slam that mother 3inches with Eibach springs. I would then use a greddy intake. But I'm going to straight pipe it with an oil barrel stickin out the back. Of course, for extra hp always use chinese decals - the ones that say, "POWER", or "SPEED", or "YOMAMA". A large sticker will go across my windshield saying "POSTAL" (that would be my racing crew). Finish it off with off set racing stripes (red white and blue of course) and a supra fin spoiler on the roof. And just to be different, I'm going to use buddha-head wheels.

I'd say I've got at least 300+ hp. That oil-barrel exhaust is at least +150 hp. Do we get freeways to cut people off on in this magical world???

Ooh, as USPS mailtruck WOULD be pretty phat.
I think the new Pontaic Aztek would be a fun rice-ation.
First off, nice high rear deck for a HUGE wing. We're talking Can-am size here. Lots of surface area for tons of stickers. I'd cut the springs, and add lots and lots of negative camber, just so everyone knows it's a racing aztek. Lesse, what else. Oh, a big ol' exhast, of course, and a really really deep chin spoiler, one that went down, but out front a lot (like a le mans car). Hmm, maybe some of the blue headlights, and definitely the little nice extras like four car scenters, paint the winshield, recline the seat, go with a momo steering wheel, maybe put a carbon fiber handle on the steering column-mounted shifter, PIAA's, maybe put a big ol' hood scoop, a racing stripe would be nice, and maybe a huge sticker that says "AZTEK" on each side...like 4 feet tall, going onto the windows. Yeah. Werd. I think one of those limo boomerang things would look good too.

sounds cool, you guys gotta have those flourescent lights underneith the car and around the liscense plate too though. and you have to put hella expesnive rims that are stock size with stock tires on them, that way the wheel wells will still look to big for the car, and the handling wont be improved, imean messed up, but the wheels will looks sick. i think you'll also need to cut some rivets into the hood and/or fenders for increased wind flow and cooling regardless of whether or not they are placed near anything that gets hot.
this is more of a lowrider thing these days, but you gotta get some chrome accents to go over the wheel wells on the fenders, oh yeeeaaah, those are hot! dont forget the matching windshiled wipers!

i think it would be funny to ricerize a jeep wrangler... lower that sucker to 4", slap some r-type and v-tech stickers on it... apply a 3 foot tall jeep logo on the side... convert the roll-bars into spoiler/wing combos... add even more fog lights... hmm... maybe even tint the plastic convertible window...

here's my 2 cents

for for a plymouth Grand Voyager (not a chrysler T&c) with the 140 HP Mitsubishi inline 4

take the car, put on 18 inch chrome rims, zrated tires....slam it 3 inches (bring it down to 3.5 inch ground clearance), put a big exhaust and cut part of the exhaust pipe along the way to give it a deeper growl

Tint the windows, get side step rails, aero front bumper, get the headlights "HID" with uneven blue paint. Add a large rear wing to the back of the car a-la previa (but larger)
You have to keep the ghetto grey plastic bumper scheme

Kanji decals along w/ the calvin pissing sticker. make it say "Kompressor Grand voyager SE Type R w/ VTEC AWD" in the back of the car. change the front symbol to a Mercedes Benz symbol (Hey, it IS a daimler Chrysler vehicle!) Have a powered-by sticker on the rear window.
on the side of the car, have it say "Mercedes Racing" plastered in 4 ft. high logos, and "Kompressor Spyder" on the other side.

Momo wheel inside, and white faced instrument cluster.

Then, you gotta have the rear seat removed and big box sub w/ 200 watt amps. Gotta have a nice 1000 dollar head unit, but the cheap speakers everywhere else..

My 2 cents

Thumbs up

I would take my 94 Ford Escort (nicknamed The Blue Meanie) and dump it, move the wheels out a few inches, tint the windows severely, put a Ferrari hood ornament on the front, and have big decals on each side of the car reading: Blue Meanie Racing. What a sight . . .

Kanji= Han Tsu in chinese. Which literally mean han words. Kanji is the reference to the adopted chinese characters that were used to replace traditional inu characterset in japan. The Kanji was used because at that point in history, japan was not developed, and considered itself a tributary state to China, the middle kingdom. Buddhism, Confucianism, many traditions including Carp flags and holidays are largely based on Chinese culture. Many old buddhist temples in japan, in fact, have chinese architecture.

Nara, the ancient city capital of japan (close to Kyoto) was actually modelled after Chang-an (present day Xian).

Up until the End of the Tokugawa period (and the beginning of the meiji in the 1860s), Japan actually followed many Chinese aspects, from culture to religion to social classes. True, there were a few spats here and there in regards to "Sono Joi" (Revere the Emporer, expel the barbarians) before the Meiji, China was considered the "center" kingdom and the source for many aspects of japenese society.

Of course, it's not an exact copy. The japanese took something, and then adapted it to their own liking over generation.

BTW, Japanese High Schoolers still are required to read classical chinese literature...small tidbits

PT Cruiser heaven

Okay, now time to take that lil' PT Cruiser. First I would strip the paint down to the primer and drive around in it for a few months. Then I would take it to the shop get it sprayed a dual coat of metallic vermillion and purple. Ahh yes so at some angles you see an orangish color or purple.

Now, I would cut the springs down to a nice two inch ride. Camber out the wheels and extra few degrees. Use 12 inch rims with high profile tires. Oh and the rims are all goldish colored .

Next to be changed would be the ground works. Get some flashy stuff that sticks out 4 inches from the car. Then a whaley top spoiler and a huge front spoiler.

Next I would of course paint half of the front windshield to give it a low profile and change the two windshield wipers to a MB style one wiper. Color of that wiper would be orange to match the car.

Following all of this I would take out all of the chairs except for the front two. This space will be used for 30 amps, 5 subs, 20 loudspeakers, and 10 tweeters. All with a 500 cd changer.

With mah audio heaven, I would finish the interior with carbon fiber everywhere, including dash, shifter, wheel (momo of course like the front two chairs), and pedals.

With the interior just the way I like it, I would tint all of the windows to a nice dark grey.

Next I would put not one 9 inch tail pipe, not two. . . not three. . . not five. . . no 10, yes 10 tailpipes all around starting from the rearwheel corner to the other rear wheel corner. Of course all are gold plated.

With the car looking very nice inside and out, whats left is what some may ask. Well my wondering friend, I have one word for you: hydraulics :O. Yes sir, this would be the last touch. I would install some bumpin' hydraluics so that I can go up and down on the road. And then when I pull up to the place I'm going to the whole car will drop to a nice fsssssh to .5". Oh yes this is another ricey dream car by spigidygak. I hope it was as good for you as it was for me.

It'd have to be an 80s Toyota Tercel, painted like an X-Wing fighter. Just like this one:

(edit) Sigh !@#$% Homestead and their dynamic URL'd images. Anyway, you can still find lots of pics (but zero life) at: http://fan.starwars.com/KatieHorn/files/gallery.html

Now, what'd I'd do is find one of those Pepsi R2-D2 ice bucket displays and stick it in the trunk. Wire it to a little motor to have the head spin around, and hook up R2's eye to the brake light circuit. Re-attach the doors as gullwings, for wings. Then install a 5-inch exhaust and call it a 'hyperdrive'.

Oh, yeah, and stick a VTEC sticker on the back.
